The Wayward Bulls Have Arrived!

The Wayward Bulls are the brain child of Phil (Drinka) Hart. The idea for the Wayward Bulls came to Phil in a moment of clarity, and (oddly enough) sobriety, as he watched a "Brownhill Bulls v Bridgewater Bulls" game. Both teams wore nearly identical strips and Drinka struggled to work who was playing for who.

Even some of the players got confused. Danny (Banka) Langley rounded first and headed to second even though second was occupied by Bill (Responsor) Magoulianous (how anyone could miss Bill standing on Second is beyond this reporter).

Idea being born, Phil discussed the idea with anyone who would listen, gathered sponsors together with Bill's assistance, got approval and the Wayward Bulls were born. They made there first appearance on Saturday July 12th 2008.

The Brownhill Bulls took to the field in the magnificent new red and silver Wayward Bulls shirts, as modelled by Tom (Bull Bag) Winter and Norm (Untame - A - Bull) Sluga, and took on the Bridgewater Bulls in the early game. The Socia-Bulls wore the shirts against the Sons-of-Bulls in the late game.

The new shirts and name must have had magical power because several Bulls reported exceptional achievements. Some achievements were so exceptional that some Bulls haven't taken their shirt off yet.

Some of the achievements spoken of included:

So the magical Wayward Bull shirts are here to stay. They will be wore for all away games.

If the magic of the shirts continues to work then the Bulls will be unbeatabull??? And at least one bull will be very satisfied-bull!!!
